Dubbed “The Erin Brockovich of Stalking” by Vice, Lenora seeks to find purpose in her trauma by way of advocating for others. As the public face of stalking in America, Lenora began to speak out not only for herself but for the other 13.5 million Americans being targeted after she became the fixation of a dangerous stalker.
Although her story went viral and was featured on 48 Hours, People,Yahoo News, TMZ, Daily Mail, CBS news and other media outlets, Lenora began to realize that, despite the attention it was receiving and a mountain of credible threats, law enforcement was still unable to provide the rapid intervention required. It was then that Lenora took measures to capture her stalker herself, leading to his successful felony conviction in 2018.
A founding member of the Los Angeles District Attorney Crime Victims Advisory Board and graduate of the FBI Los Angeles Citizens Academy, Lenora now advises on the needs and best practices for survivors of gender-based violence, i.e. sexual assault, domestic violence and stalking.
As a survivor, Lenora helps navigate others through the complex worlds of law enforcement, the judicial system and the healing process. She has helped countless people obtain restraining orders, served as a human shield in court and worked on legislative proposals delivered to Congress.
Lenora frequently speaks as an expert on subjects of risk minimization at schools and on television and podcasts. She also works as a consultant on television and film productions, advocating for victims and their families to ensure respectful depictions of their most traumatic and vulnerable moments.
